New name. New leadership. The same people you know, with even greater capability behind them.

From today, we are now trading as Ascentium.

You will see the new name and look across our website, our communications and the documents we share with you. Behind it, the firm is the one you know. The same people, in the same offices, working with you in the same way.

Alongside the new name, David Bilston-McGillen has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Ascentium Australia, with Daniel Dalla and Mark Wellings continuing to lead their service lines. There is more on this below.

We have been part of the Ascentium global advisory group for some time and now operate fully under its brand. Taking the Ascentium name is the natural final step in that alignment. It also reflects how far the firm has come.

A firm that has grown

In recent years we have grown significantly. Oxygen Private Clients and Lumiere Private Advisory in Melbourne joined the group, followed by MGI Dobbyn Carafa earlier this year. Ascentium Australia now operates from four cities across four states, bringing specialists in tax and advisory, audit and assurance, corporate advisory and private client services together under one name.

Behind the Australian business sits a global advisory firm reaching 58 cities in 27 markets across Australia, Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and the Americas.

What this means for you

Above all else, continuity.

Your adviser, your team and the way we work together stay as they are. The people who look after you day to day will continue to do so, through the same offices, systems and processes you already know. Your existing contracts and agreements are unaffected, and every commitment we have made to you carries straight through under the Ascentium name.

The relationships you have built with us are the foundation of this firm. They are the part of the business we have been most careful to protect through this change.

A stronger team behind your trusted advisers

For many clients, the day-to-day experience will feel exactly as it did last week. What changes is the strength behind those relationships.

As Ascentium, your local team is connected to a deeper pool of specialist expertise, spanning international tax, transfer pricing, cross-border structuring, transaction support, family office advisory, ESG, business transformation, multi-country payroll, government incentives and expansion into new markets. As your business grows or your affairs become more complex, that capability is available through the people you already deal with.

As your needs evolve, the answer is more likely than ever to sit within the firm you already work with.

A new chapter in leadership

Today also marks a change in how the firm is led.

David Bilston-McGillen has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Ascentium Australia. He succeeds Daniel Dalla and Mark Wellings, who have jointly led the firm through its recent growth and who remain central to the business. Daniel continues to lead Audit & Assurance, Mark continues to lead the Tax & Advisory Sydney practice, and both take on broader responsibility for service innovation and the ongoing improvement of what we offer clients.

Daniel and Mark have led this firm through a period of remarkable growth, from InCorp Advisory to a business with the scale to take its place on a global stage. Much of what our clients value about working with us today reflects their work. We thank them for their leadership, and for the care they have taken to make this transition a smooth one.

Introducing David

Some of you will already know David well. For those meeting him for the first time: David joined the group when Oxygen Private Clients became part of the firm in 2025, and has served as Chair of Ascentium Australia since December 2025. Before that he built a career of more than 30 years advising private clients, family groups and business owners on their financial affairs, as a Director at Oxygen Private Clients, a Director of Lumiere Private Advisory, and previously as a Director at Mutual Trust and Dominion Private Clients.

David describes his outlook in three words: experience affords perspective. He has spent his career building firms around the quality of their relationships and the longevity of their client work, and he holds that a firm whose people look after one another will look after its clients. Candid advice, trust and close attention to detail are the hallmarks of how he practises, and they are the principles he brings to leading Ascentium Australia.

Over time, you will see David’s leadership in how the firm grows: deepening our specialist capability, drawing more fully on Ascentium’s global expertise when your circumstances call for it, and holding the whole business to the standard of personal service and care that our clients have every right to expect.

In their words

“I have spent more than 30 years in professional practice, and the lesson I keep coming back to is that the firms that endure are the ones that invest in their people and their relationships. Clients can tell when care is genuine. This firm has been built by people who understand that, and my job is to give them the platform to do more of it. I am looking forward to meeting many of you over the coming months, and to leading a firm that continues to earn your trust.”

David Bilston-McGillen, Chief Executive Officer, Ascentium Australia

“Building InCorp Advisory into the firm it is today has been the work of many people over many years, and what we are proudest of is the trust our clients have placed in us along the way. Becoming Ascentium gives those same people, and those same relationships, a far larger platform to work from. We are both looking forward to spending more of our time where we do our best work, alongside our clients, and to seeing what this firm achieves next.”

Daniel Dalla, Managing Director, Audit & Assurance,
Mark Wellings, Managing Director, Tax & Advisory

“For the families and individuals, we look after, the relationship comes first, and that does not change. The adviser you call is the same person you have always called. What changes is what sits behind that call: a global network, deeper specialist expertise, better technology, and a global network, which means faster answers, fewer surprises and more certainty about what is coming. When goals span generations, that certainty is what lets a family make the right decisions at the right time.”

Alanta Kirkland, Managing Director, Private Clients

“Joining Ascentium is a natural next step, allowing us to grow while preserving the trusted relationships we have built, and to expand the expertise we offer, all while ensuring a seamless client experience – now powered by the scale to support them as their needs evolve.”

Anthony Carafa, Managing Director, Tax & Advisory
